Hotel Memories Oldtown - Budapest

Centrally located with quiet ambiance during the afternoon.

I noticed that the hotel lacked adequate hanging space. There were barely any hooks available for coats or clothes. The room was quite dark despite being spacious, as it faced an inner courtyard. The rooftop terrace, which I was looking forward to, was closed for refurbishment, limiting my options for relaxation outdoors.

The room was modern and fashionable, loved that. Very comfy beds, the staff were courteous and polite. Location: the hotel was very close to the center of the town as well as a nice area of budapest. There was free Wi-Fi throughout the property and the service in general was helpful.

The rooftop terrace offered fine views and was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

Housekeeping could improve, as we encountered inconsistent service , with some items not being refilled.

Charming decor with thoughtful staff

I loved the spacious room, especially with the unique exposed brick wall that added character. The staff went out of their way to help, like providing recommendations for local restaurants and being attentive to our breakfast preferences. We enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi after a long day exploring, and the fresh lemonade and pastries available throughout the day were a good touch. It would have been nice to have a ceramic mug instead of a disposable one for tea in the room.

The wellness area was relaxing, and the location was super convenient, just a short walk from the metro.

The room was super comfy, and I really loved that fresh coffee was always available in the lobby. I also enjoyed using the sauna and jacuzzi, which helped me relax after a long day. The only minor downside was that the view from my window wasn't great, but it didn't bother me much. 😊

I had a blast with my friends! The hotel is close to the National Museum and Central Market Hall, and the kids' play corner on the 3rd floor was a hit. The breakfast was good, and the staff made everything so easy and enjoyable.

One downside was that my room only had a bath and no shower. I didn't mind much, but it was a bit disappointing not to have the choice.

The Superior Double or Twin Room was super comfortable. I appreciated the air conditioning and the private bathroom. Free tea and coffee were nice, and having a minibar was a bonus. The wellness center was great too! We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Super nice team!

It was just a decent option for a stopover in Budapest, great for the money. The bathroom was tidy and functional, perfect for quick needs. Bring your own toiletries for a better experience.
